Nash is at such a fun stage! The last couple of weeks we've done some "firsts" and it is so cool to see him so interested in learning. He's starting to talk more and says, "mama, dada, all done, uh-oh, Toots" that we understand, and lots more that we don't. Lately he likes to hear about what animals say and if you ask him what a lizard says he sticks his tongue in and out, in and out - and then laughs. His other favorite animal sound to do is panting really hard and snorting - that's what Tootsie says (so very accurate)! He has his own TV remote and today I just watched him play with it - he pointed it at the TV and pushed the buttons, then hid it behind the couch pillows (that's where we hide the real remotes from him). Also, the last few days I've been telling him to go get stuff, like "Go get your blankie, its time to go night-night" and "Go find your milk cup - you left it in your room" and "Get your shoes so we can go outside" - and he DOES! It really surprises me how much he understands! I guess I better start giving the kid more credit!He's getting better at playing some by himself, but he'll still come over and give me a kiss or hug every 10 minutes or so - which I TOTALLY don't mind. Being separated from Mom isn't quite the tragedy it used to be, so that's a little easier on both of us. Overall, we are thriving! Life is good for the Brannon's. Thank you, God!
He's still the most at home outside
Loves the park! He starts pointing and grunting every time we pass it.
The first haircut. The mullet was a little out of control. We just had it trimmed so he still has a few curls at the back. It made him look a lot more blond!

First trip to the zoo and this was pretty much what we saw of him - a blur! He loved it!
We went to the zoo with our good friends, the Nelsons, from Lubbock. Here are the kiddos - Nash, Caleb, and Anna.

I just pulled the laundry out of the dryer, and Nash proceeded to dig out ALL of his blankies and pretended to be asleep.
This was my attempt at entertaining him in the shade b/c he's already getting a little farmer's tan - even with spf 50.
If Daddy is doing yard work, Nash likes to "help" - yes, we're grooming him young!
