Where did January go???

Well, January just flew right by, didn't it?! The weather, for the most part, has been beautiful and we've gotten to do lots of fun outdoor stuff. That makes an almost-2 yr old boy and his mama happy! We both tend to get a little grouchy if we have to stay cooped up. Also, Mark had a birthday, so we had a good time celebrating that! Not much new to report ... just living the good life - spending time with an awesome family, good friends, and a GREAT God!

Gotta love a good picnic! Nash is trying to give Will a hug - Will is saying/screaming, "Don't touch me, Nash!" They really do love each other, as evidenced by the fighting like brothers. This was our second time to the zoo this month.

Nash helping Jill feed Baby Jack. Nash LOVES Jack! He talks about him at least 3x/day and prays for him every night.

Mark turned 33!
We had dinner with some friends at Gingerman Pub (highly recommend it)!

Good friends, good times.

We took Nash to the Fort Worth Stock Show and I swear the boy was in Heaven! Here, he and Pawpaw are checking out the tractors.

Thank God I'm a country boy!

The baby chicks are actually hatching!

We've been spending as much time as possible with the Muhlenkamps since they are about to move to Italy. We are trying not to be sad since they will be having such wonderful adventures (and since we will be going to visit them in Italy), but I AM sad!!! These next few are pictures from New Year's Eve.See - they do get along sometimes! I love how you can totally tell they are in the middle of saying, "Cheese!"
Partners in crime
They pulled their own chairs up to the counter to reach something they weren't supposed to have, I'm sure.

(Just for you, Jill)
This is the feast Brad fixed for our NYE meal - Umm...YUM!

Very Merry Christmas(es)!

Christmas 2010 was wonderful! We had about 4 different celebrations, and it was fast and furious, but so much fun! First, we had Christmas here in Ft. Worth with Grandma and Pawpaw (Mark's folks). Then, we went to Marshall to Pops and Nonnie's (my dad and step-mom) house. Next, we went to Mooringsport, LA for our Cochran family Christmas - complete with Family Fear Factor in which we did not win, but literally lost big (as in puked my guts out - stupid sardines!) We wrapped up our festivities in Conroe with JoJo and Papa, and a little more time with Ty, Amy, Jake and Grace. We got home just in time to get our house ready to put on the market. Phew! Today was a day of rest, which is why I'm getting to update this here blog. Looking back at these pictures humbles me. How generous our God is with His blessings! Enjoy the pictures!

This was Nash's "big" gift from us - he calls it his "motorcycle"

Oh no! Daddy caught me!

I KNEW this would be Nash's favorite gift! He plays it ALL day long and tells it "night-night" at nap time and bedtime.

We are so blessed by the Portillo additions to the family!

Going to play on the hay bales is a must for kiddos on Pops' ranch!

Nash all bundled up and, of course, playing outside! He really didn't care it was 20 degrees - he still wanted to be out and talking to the baby cows
These next few are the Nash and Grace series. These twin cousins are precious together! Whereever there is one, the other is surely close by. They were either hugging and kissing on each other or full-out brawling!

He saved some kisses for Mommy!

And some butterfly kisses for Daddy!
