A Lovely September

We've been at home for the majority of September and it has been really nice! Nash turned 19 months old and is cracking us up on a daily basis. He's quite the talker - even if I'm the only one who really can decipher most of it! He has started saying "Love you", "Daddy ma-mote" (Daddy's remote), "I poo-poo." His favorite games are chasing us with the push toys while screaming "Oh no! Oh no!" and hiding the remote behind the couch pillows and saying "Where'd it go?" He seems to be a music man - he sings along to his bedtime songs and LOVES plucking at the guitars at church. As far as us adults go - Mark is really enjoying his new job! One friend from church is always saying that the best thing about being a mom to boys is that they REALLY love their mommies - so true! But since Mark has been home more, Nash has really bonded with him too and it's pretty sweet to see how excited he gets when Mark gets home. And I still think being a mommy and working part-time is the best thing ever! We are richly blessed.

These are pictures of the 3 of us all @ 18 months old. It's funny - people who know me better say he looks like me and people who know Mark better say him. I think he's a pretty equal mix - I mean, how can you go wrong with these genes???

The kid likes him some brownies!

We went to the zoo again with my fam a couple of weeks ago.

Orangutans are just funny!

Aunt Casey trying to corral him - good luck with that!
